USA Hockey Coaching Education Program
All WAHA coaches must complete the USA Hockey CEP at the appropriate level for the age they coach. Certification is good for three seasons and must be paired with age-specific modules and SafeSport each year.
Levels at a glance
- Level 1 — 8U, 10U coaches
- Level 2 — 12U coaches
- Level 3 — 14U, 16U, 18U coaches
- Level 4 & 5 — Advanced and master coaches
Continuing Education
WAHA hosts regional coach clinics each fall. Online age-specific modules are available year-round at usahockey.com. Coach Developers and Producers can apply through WAHA to mentor others.
