All in-state youth tournaments must be sanctioned by WAHA. Follow the four steps below — and reach out to the WAHA Tournament Director with any questions.
Complete the WAHA Tournament Sanctioning Form at least 60 days in advance.
All teams must be USA Hockey registered with current SafeSport-compliant rosters.
Per-team WAHA fee plus USA Hockey insurance — invoiced upon approval.

Each season WAHA hosts state playdowns across multiple age divisions (12U, 14U, 16U, 18U) and tiers. District champions earn the right to represent their region at the state tournament, with state winners advancing to the USA Hockey Central District championship.
